About Lillehammer: the back story

Lillehammer, north of Oslo, is the gateway to Gudbrandsdalen. Maihaugen is Norway’s largest open-air museum, in its own words; the Olympic Park hosts the IBSF bobsleigh and skeleton World Championships in 2027 on its Olympic track, and the official tourist information counts the area’s slopes among Norway’s best.

Getting there

By Vy train from Oslo S; check vy.no for times.
